ARCHITECTURAL TOURS OF LUCERNE

Architectural tour 1: Thursday, 29 May, 7 - 9 pm Architectural tour 2: Sunday, 1 June, 10.30 am - 12.30 am Meeting point: Bahnhofplatz, altes Bahnhoftor (Station square, Old train station gate) Within the context of the Architecture Talks Lucerne, the organisation ArchiTour.Schweiz offers a two-hour guided walk through Lucerne’s city centre and its contemporary architecture highlights. The itinerary includes visits of the following buildings: • New Migros-Markt, Diener & Diener, 2000 • Extension and reconstruction Hotel Schweizerhof, Diener & Diener, 2000 • School building Dreilinden, Lussi & Halter, 2005 • Residential and atelier Kapuzinerweg, Mark Bucher, 2004 • Chapel bridge, round 1300 • Collection Rosengart, reconstruction building of National Bank, Diener & Diener, 2001 • Gym Säli (duplex building), Bosshard Luchsinger, 2006 • Extension Hotel Astoria, Herzog & de Meuron, 2007 • The Hotel, Jean Nouvel, 2000 The architectural tours will be held bilingually in German and English. Cost CHF 30.00 / EUR 18.00* * Prices in Euro are intended as guidelines only. The respective daily exchange rate shall be applied when computing your invoice. The number of participants is limited!
